A position is now available now at Tri-State Automatic Sprinkler for a fire sprinkler systems inspector. A minimum of 5 years experience is required in testing and inspecting all types of water-based fire sprinkler systems and all their appurtenances.
We are seeking a licensed fire sprinkler fitter with experience conducting testing and inspections on water-based fire suppression systems. Applicants must be able to work normal working hours (M-F, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and be in good standing with Local Union 669. This position needs filled immediately.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Provide inspection reports and supporting documentation of deficiencies and necessary improvements.
2. Perform testing and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment to assure installation is done in accordance with laws, codes, regulations, and standards. Perform system verification on completed systems to assure correct installation per design specifications.
3. Provide clear and accurate inspection reports with documentation of inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommended corrective action(s) that must be taken to aid the client in achieving code-compliant system(s).
4. Ensure project management and service managers are informed of the status of inspections or delays and ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client.
5. This position is required to drive. A clean driving record is a must!
6.Standard sprinkler fitter work duties as outlined by Local Union 669 CBA.

A minimum of 5 years experience installing all types of water-based fire sprinkler systems and all their appurtenances is required. Experience in service department working on problem-solving skills on the above-mentioned systems a plus!
We are seeking licensed fire sprinkler fitters with experience running projects and completing service projects on all types of job sites. Applicants must be able to work normal working hours (M-F, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and be in good standing with Local Union 669. This position needs filled immediately.
